Crystal Awards Honor Local Service

The East Lee County Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the 2026 Annual Crystal Awards Gala, held last Saturday, March 7th. The evening brought together community leaders, businesses, educators, and first responders to recognize individuals who make a lasting impact in East Lee County.

A special thank you to Commissioner Cecil Pendergrass, who joined the event and delivered both the welcome and closing remarks. His continued support of the community and the Chamber is greatly appreciated.

The Chamber also recognizes the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for its

participation in this year’s East Lee County Chamber Gala and for their ongoing dedication to protecting and serving the residents of Lee County.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the 2026 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award. The recognition was presented by Commander Ken Ellis of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and awarded to Detective Paz Becerra for outstanding service and commitment to the community.

The East Lee County Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the individuals and organizations who help strengthen our community each day.
