FDEO: Re-employment Assistance Application Portal

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity has been receiving many calls regarding applying for re-employment assistance online. Concerns have not gone unnoticed, and the Department has been diligently working towards a solution.

We are happy to announce that a new and improved website for the FDEO has been launched!

The Reemployment Assistance Application Portal is available here: https://www.FloridaJobs.org/RAApplication.

The website http://www.floridajobs.org/ has been developed to better accommodate the large volume of people wanting to log into the CONNECT system during this time of crisis. It contains helpful resources including a category for independent contractors/gig workers.

The old school paper application has also been pressed into action so it can be submitted by mail for anyone still having problems connecting to the online application. You can find a link to download the paper applications in English, Spanish, and Creole here: http://www.floridajobs.org/Reemployment-Assistance-Service-Center/reemployment-assistance/claimants/rapaperapplication.

We hope that our fellow community members and their families are still staying safe and that these resources are helpful. Please let us know if you have any questions and we’ll be happy to help.

Sincerely,

Michael J. “Mike” Welch
Chairman, East Lee Chamber of Commerce / Greater
Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce
