Lehigh Regional Medical Center has been sold, and the transfer process has begun.

Prime Health has sold the Medical Center to Health Corporation of America (HCA). HCA is no stranger to the communities of Eastern Lee as it owned the facility some 20+ years ago when it was called Eastpointe Hospital.

This development marks the development of great healthcare coverage in our area. Together with Tampa General Hospital’s future presence at Babcock Ranch all of us will be interested as we move forward into the future.
