Daylight Saving Time

Don’t forget to move your alarm clocks back an hour on Sunday, November 2nd, at 3:00 am!
Veterans Day

Veterans Day will be Tuesday, November 11th, and will be a day of observance and closure, including most government offices and services in Lee County. Libraries will also be closed, though some may close early the day before. Schools will close on November 11th for Veterans Remembrance, and Thanksgiving Break will be November 24th through November 28th.

As October brings seasonal activities and preparations for the holidays, scammers and fraudsters have ramped up their efforts to take advantage of unsuspecting residents. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone to stay alert and protect themselves from common scams that often spike this time of year.
