Welcome to East Lee County. We’re Glad You’re Here

Rural wonderlands, waterside retreats, and metro living all converge to offer a modern Floridian experience in an area with Old Florida ambiance.

East Lee County is just a drive away from the sparkling Gulf of Mexico to plan for plenty of beach days, but our region also offers unique attractions and activities you won’t find near the main tourist hubs.

Did you know that East Lee offers some of the most affordable accommodations in the Southwest Florida region, as well as some of the most unique destinations that will truly transport you to real Florida away from the neon lights?

Explore the banks of the ancient Caloosahatchee River, get up close and personal with wildlife at over 50 nature trails, meet a Manatee at Manatee Park, hit the links at one of many local golf courses—have we convinced you yet? Have you ever felt the wind in your hair as you zoom over sawgrass at sunset? Browse farmer’s markets and roadside stands chockfull of fresh, locally grown produce, or stop by a modern Hydroponic farm. Indulge in some retail therapy at the area’s local outlet malls and shopping centers. Get to know the folks behind hundreds of Mom-and-Pop restaurants.

Make East Lee County not just your ‘base of operation” for fun day trips to the beach, but a destination that deserves to be explored and appreciated as its own charm and character.

You can’t manufacture the magic of East Lee County.
